External Lists

A database will form the backbone of any sales campaign - where data for prospective customers is not available - 'External Lists' supplied by outside sources are often bought in.  These lists will be purchased based upon requirements such as - buyer's name, buyers title, postal address, telephone number etc.  The data within the 'External Lists' depends upon the direct marketing approach - i.e. if used for telemarketing it will require a telephone number for each prospect.
